March Newsletter

Directors Message
Happy Springtime LBPC members!!!! Sorry I have lagged on the LBPC newsletter. Better late then never.

Springtime is awesome in Laguna Beach. The daylight saving is great and we all get experience the beaches and parks a little later in the evening. We sure live in the most beautiful city.

Looks like we made the right call in canceling the annual egg hunt. What a cold wet day. Hopefully everyone can still attend the reschedule on Friday April 6th 4-7pm. Keg and tack cart will be there ready.
We have some fun stuff planned in April for the LBPC.

With SUP Co. Coming back into town in the next week or so ( check them out on the corner of Oak st.) I am looking forward to getting back into the moms morning paddles and dads paddles too. Hopefully we will get one on the calendar for the month of April.

We have some fun stuff planned in April for the LBPC.

Parents Night Out- Stay Tuned... Date Change... working on it.........
It was originally sechduled for the end of April but there is a change of plans. We are working on it and it's going to be a great time.

Families Helping Families Meal Program
The LBPC likes to deliver a meal from a local restaurant when a LBPC member has a baby. A great way to volunteer would be to deliver one of these meals to a family with a newborn. It's simple. Contact Kami Marrshall if you are willing to help at kamibmarshall@gmail.com
If you are a member that is expecting a baby and would like a meal delivered for your family after the baby arrives please contact Kami. Why not take advantage of a great meal with no hassle after returning home.

As we all know the LBPC run solely on volunteers and we are always looking for new ones. We need volunteers to keep this club going. There are some many opportunities for you to help out. The leadership roles are a yearly term. Our current leadership positions are up in June and we are looking for some great people to step up, Co-Pres, Secretary, club directors etc..... We need many other roles filled too.
Some current positions that we really need filled are:
2009 Playgroup Coordinator
New Member Coordinator
Volunteers to deliver a meal to a family with a new baby
blogger
etc....
There are a lot of little positions.... Nothing is more then an hour of your time once a month. PLEASE attend the monthly volunteer meeting if you can lend a hand in any way. It's really easy. Get involved and help out the club if you want to see it continue and prosper.

Don't forget to stay up to date with LBPC stuff on Facebook. Like the Laguna Beach Parents Club facebook page and see whats going on with the club.
